Back in the day, Chris Bachmann lived the high life, as a popular moderator and presenter in Switzerland, he was burning the candle at both ends. In a bid to slow down, in the early 2000s he took a surf trip to Brazil. It was there he discovered his love for the rainforest and found the Guaraná fruit. Eventually, with a dream to bring Guaraná to Switzerland, SuddenRush was born.
After founding SuddenRush in Switzerland in 2006, Chris never settled for keeping his passion at arm’s length. As the brand grew, so did his commitment to protecting the rainforest.
He made a life-changing move — leaving Switzerland to live in Brazil’s Atlantic Rainforest, at the heart of the place he’s spent years working to protect.
To this day, he lives and runs the NGO - ARFI, (Atlantic Rainforest Institution) in Itacaré, Brazil.

SuddenRush was created by Swiss creative and event host Chris Bachmann, fed up with coffee crashes and sugary energy drinks wrecking his focus and vibe. In Brazil’s Atlantic rainforest he discovered guaraná, bottled it into a pocket-sized shot and built a brand around clean, lasting energy.
